This is a very rare Gordon Grant etching.  Men turning the Capstan.  It is pencil signed and editioned as 31/100.  The image measures 10X6 7/8 inches.  Printed on a thicker wove type paper.

This is an original engraving by British artist Edgar R. Hambly.  It is hand signed lower right border in pencil, The image measures 5X7 inches, nicely framed.  Hambly was an engraver and illustrator born in Corwall England in 1885.  He later moved to America and became the Art director of Conde Nast.  

This is an early engraving by Italian artist Giovanni Martino de Boni (1753-1831)  The title is S. Jacobus Major  (St Jacob ).  Created and printed circa 1790, this engraving has an image size of 12 1/4X9 3/4 inches with a plate size of 15 3/4X10 3/4 inches, on a early laid paper which measures 21X15 1/4 inches...This is a period 18th century printing.
