Engraving from "Les Saintes" series, second state, image size: 3 5/8 x 2 inches

This detailed engraving of the French writer and historian, Charles Jean Francois Henault, was done in 1744 by Jean-Guillaune Moitte after Augustin Saint-Aubin. It measures 16 1/2 x 12 1/8 inches.

This 1925 etching of an old woman by the Austrian artist Arthur Paunzer measures 5 7/8 x 4 1/2 inches, plate dated and pencil signed. Paunzer studied at the Academie Julien in Paris and traveled to Italy where he studied art and architecture. His works are included in the Albertina Museum, Vienna, the British Museum, London, Princeton University Library and the Cleveland Museum of Art.

This is an original Japanese woodblock print by Omura Koyo, created in 1952  this woodblock is titled: Cat at Play.  A fine example of in and embossment, a rich rich inking.  The image measures 10 1/2X15 1/4 inches.  The image on the lower right side has both the artist's stamped name and also written in pencil.  Publishers information on the right border.  

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Alphonse Legros (1837-1911)  The title of this work is Lisiere de Bois. Created circa 1880, this etching measures an image of 4 3/4X7 3/4 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower border.

This is an original etching by American artist John Bostwick (1860-1947)  The title of this work is: "A Brilliant Sunset".  It was created and printed in 1882.  The image measures 5 1/4X11 1/4 inches.  The setting of this scene is: "The Large building of the Clark Insulate Electric Wire Company, Bristol, Pa"  the work is unsigned as published.

This drypoint etching by Louis Conrad Rosenberg measures 8 1/4 x 6 7/8 inches. Created in 1925, it is pencil signed in the lower right. Rosenberg studied architecture at the University of Oregon before moving into architectural etching, studying at the American Academy in Rome and the Royal College of Art in London. The majority of his work was of European buildings with historic significance.

This is an original monoprint by American artist David W Humphrey (1872-1950)  This scene of Arcadia is an unsigned proof.  It came to us with a matching pencil sketch of the same subject.  The artist is identified on the back of the sheet.  The image measures 9 7/8X7 7/8 inches.  "David W. Humphrey was active/lived in Connecticut, New York, Wisconsin, Illinois.  David Humphrey is known for figure-genre, illustrations, graphics, crafts."

This is a fine original etching and aquatint by British artist  Douglas Ian Smart.  The title is: Washerwomen, Gerona Italy, it is hand signed in pencil, Created circa 1920 this image measures 6X13 1/8 inches.
