This light filled lithograph by Wilfred Readio measures 11 3/4 x 14 1/2 inches and is plate signed, pencil signed, numbered and stated. Readio was a painter, lithographer and educator, known for his scenes of Pittsburgh, PA. and the American West. He was also the Academic Drawing teacher at the Carnegie Institute of the Arts, Andy Warhol being one of his students.

Sloane's work is a fine example of the transition from the elaborate Victorian style (having studied under Herkomer) of etching to the more modern British style.
