This is a fine line engraving by British artist Stanley Anderson.  The title is The Old Tinker.  This pencil signed impression measures 7 X5 1/2  inches, created and printed in 1933.  This image appears in the Anderson Catalog as image number 208.  The tinker is depicted soldering a patch to a leaking kettle while his wife is about to renew the cane seat of an old chair.  Anderson often returned to the subject of the wanderer, of itinerants such as wayfarers pedlars and gypsies making their way through town.  This engraving is in a modern frame with archival materials.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Paul Helleu.  This view of a Woman with Hat in Profile, was created and printed circa . 1905.  The image measures  21X13 inches. Identified lower right border.  Fine condition, printed on a wove type sheet.

This is a fine original drypoint etching by Scottish artist David Young Cameron.  The title is: Castle Urquhart, created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 75 impressions.  Hand signed in pencil lower right.  Printed on a fine medium weight laid type sheet with watermark. " Castle Urquhart is situated on the banks of Loch Ness, with magnificent views across the Great Glen towards Inverness and Fort Augustus. Throughout its long existence, the castle has been an important strategic stronghold for anyone wishing to control the area, including both Robert the Bruce and Oliver Cromwell’s armies."

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Peggy Bacon, the title is: Promenade Deck, created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 500, published by The New Republic as a presentation print of their portfolio of 6 etchings.  The image measures 5 7/8X8 1/4 inches.  Flint 47.

This is an original pencil signed mezzotint by American artist Allesandro Mastro-Valerio.  This study of two bathers at the ocean has an image size of 7X6 3/4 inches.  Numbered as 20/35.  A scarce image by this well known artist and master of the modern mezzotint.  Printed on a heavy weight wove type sheet.  He was a member of the Chicago Society of Etchers,  He is best known for his mezzotint* prints, particularly his female nudes.  His work helped to revive mezzotint as an artistic medium in the United States.

This is an original drypoint and aquatint etching by French artist Jacques VIllon, The title is: Petite boudeuse, created and printed in 1905 in an edition of 50.  Hand signed in pencil, the image printed in sepia ink measures 13 3/4X9 inches.  This image appears in the Ginestet/Pouillon catalog as image number 129 ii/ii.

This is an original etching with aquatint and drypoint by French artist Louis Legrand.  The title is: L'Habillage (Dressing)   a back stage view done for  the La Petite Classe, a series of 12 images  that Legrand created as a portfolio in  1908.  The image measures 16 3/4X11 3/4 inches.  This was the 4th state of 5 which includes the Remarque of a racehorse, printed in an edition of 30.  Signed in pencil and numbered,14/30.  This image appears in the Arwas catalog as image number 369.  This etching printed on a buff toned sheet is archivally framed.  This image was used as the cover of the Arwas catalog.

This is a fine example of the excellent portraiture by British artist Gerald Brockhurst.  THis portrait created and printed in 1944 is of Mary Mellon, the wife of well known founder of Washington's National Gallery of Art Paul Mellon.  The image measures 10X8 inches, and is hand signed and dated in pencil lower right border.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  A beautiful rich impression, Brockhurst at his best... Reference, Fletcher 81, printed in an edition of 75.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist William Lionel Wyllie.  The title is: Old Waterloo Bridge, London, created and printed circa 1920.  The image measures 7 1/2X14 inches.  hand signed in pencil lower left border.  Wyllie was one of the leading British marine artists at the turn of the century .  Nicely framed, last sold by Harrods LTD in London.

This is a fine watercolor painting by British artist Myles Birket Foster (1825-1899)  The title is Along the Cornish Coast, created circa 1890 this painting has the artist's monogram 'BF" lower left corner.  The painting measures 8 1/2X20 inches, with the original gold matting in a modern gold frame.  Myles Birket Foster RWS was a British illustrator, watercolourist and engraver in the Victorian period. His name is also to be found as Myles Birkett Foster.

This is an original etching with aquatint and drypoint  by French artist Manuel Robbe.  The title is: Nu Se Coffant, ca.  Nude Combing her Hair, circa 1906.  This etching is hand signed in pencil upper right within the image.  This is a rare black and white impression.  The image measures 19 1/2X13 inches. 

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Otto Kuhler.  The image is titled: Steamboat  Wharf, created and printed in 1925.  The image measures 8X10 3/4 inches.  "Although best known for his industrial designs, Otto Kuhler (1894-1977) is well regarded as a fine artist and draftsman. Born in Germany, Kuhler was the sole heir to his family's successful steel business, Kuhler Forges. After WWI however, the business and his family's fortune were in ruins. After living briefly in Dusseldorf, and partly due to the advice of friend Joseph Pennell, he took up etching and emigrated to the States in 1923. Otto Kuhler's etchings of begrimed industry sprang from the same optimistic response to technology that led to his colorful streamlined designs for the Milwaukee, Lehigh and other railroads in the 1930's." This is a fine portrait etching by European artist Anders Zorn.  This pencil signed etching titled Guill II was created and printed in 1918.  The image measures 7 3/4X5 3/4 .  This pencil signed impression .  This image appears in the zorn catalog as image number 165.  This etching is in beautiful condition.

This is an original pencil signed etching by German expressionist Lovis Corinth.  The title is Salome, created and printed in 1919, this impression is numbered 28/150.  The image measures 7 5/8X9 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet, with a Collectors stamp William P. Moor on the back of the sheet.

This is an original pencil signed mezzotint by British artist Sir Frank Short.  The subject is Sir Francis Seymour Haden aged 74.  Haden was the "Father Figure of the British etching Revival".  This image measures 11 1/8X14 1/4 inches.  This mezzotint was created after the painting by G.P. Jacomb Hood.  This mezzotint is in perfect condition, nicely framed with archival materials.
