This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Otto Kuhler.  The image is titled: Steamboat  Wharf, created and printed in 1925.  The image measures 8X10 3/4 inches.  "Although best known for his industrial designs, Otto Kuhler (1894-1977) is well regarded as a fine artist and draftsman. Born in Germany, Kuhler was the sole heir to his family's successful steel business, Kuhler Forges. After WWI however, the business and his family's fortune were in ruins. After living briefly in Dusseldorf, and partly due to the advice of friend Joseph Pennell, he took up etching and emigrated to the States in 1923. Otto Kuhler's etchings of begrimed industry sprang from the same optimistic response to technology that led to his colorful streamlined designs for the Milwaukee, Lehigh and other railroads in the 1930's." This is a fine large drypoint etching by American Sporting artist Frank Benson.  The title is: Yellowlegs Alighting, created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 8 7/8X14 7/8 inches. This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 187.  Printed on Hodamura paper.  Nicely framed with archival boards.

This is a fine impression of early New York City, created in 1929 by American artist William NcNaulty, the title is The Woolworth Building.  Hand signed in pencil and inscribed as a gift to "Louise and Virgene... De Rochemont 12/33. W.M.N." This etching measures 13 1/4X8 7/8 inches.  A very rich impression done in an ediition of 75.  One of his finest compostions.

This is an early scene of New York City from the river by American artist John Taylor Arms.  The title is New York Skyline, and also called The Sketch of New York Skyline.  This image was created and printed in 1921 in an edition of 75.  This pencil signed impression measures 7X5 inches.  It appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 103.  Printed on a buff toned watermarked laid type paper.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  The title is: The Wild Coast, Ogunquit, Maine, created and printed in 1973 in an edition of 60.  The image measures 10 1/4X15 1/2 inches.  This image appears in the Stuckey catalog supplement number 349.  Very nice condition.

This is an original oil on canvas painting, 19th century of a Lake View with Sailboat.  This work was created circa 1880.  The painting measures 6X8 inches housed in a fine 19th century gilt frame.  The overall frame measures 11X13 inches.  The canvas is laid to an artist board backing.  No apparent signature, but finely done.

This is an original hand signed etching by American artist Isac Friedlander. The title of this work is "Aftermath" alt. "Outcasts", this etching was created and printed in 1944.
This etching was created in an edition of 30 signed proofs, this one is inscribed as "Trial Proof #2", the image measures 14X11 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper. The artist's view of the aftermath of war in Europe.
Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Mitau, Latvia. He was arrested in 1906 and imprisoned by Russian authorities for anti- Czarist Political activities from 1906 to 1912. He studied art at the Academy of Rome, Italy from 1913 until 1917. He was a friend of Russian writer Maxim Gorky. Friedlander began his printing career in 1915. In 1917 he repatriated to Russia during the Kerensky regime, but in 1929 Friedlander immigrated to the US with the encouragement of his cousin Joseph Hirshhorn.

Etching, image size 6 x 9 1/8 inches, cat: Melot- C.7, later printing without Cadart lettering, possibly after it was removed. This is a very nice impression with wide borders, printed on a medium weight cream colored laid type paper. This atmospheric image from Corot's series of Italian landscapes is a great example of his ability to capture the life and movement of the scene with loose spontaneous lines and rich tones.

Original etching by the British artist, Arthur Brisco, measuring 6 1/2 x 10 7/8 inches, 1926, signed and numbered; 62/75, cat: Hurst-158. Britain's "General Strike" was the theme of Brisco's dramatic image of "The Orator". The strike, mainly by coal-miners upset with their goverments' reduction in wages and worsening conditions, also included dockers, printers, power station workers and transport workers, thus Brisco's interest in the subject.

This is an original woodblock print by American artist Isac Friedlander. it is titled: "Vanquished" it was created and printed in 1938, it is editioned as 1/4 impressions.
The image measures 10X12 inches, printed on a light weight laid type paper. It is hand signed,titled and editioned in pencil in the lower margin. Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Latvia. In 1912 he went to Italy where he met and worked with Russian artist Maxim Gorky. During this period he also received his only art training, studying etching, drawing and relief printing at the Academy of Rome. In 1937, he emigrated to New York where he worked full time as an artist until his death. He is best known for his woodcuts and etchings, and many museums have works by the artist, including the Smithsonian, Bibliotheque Nationale, and the Brooklyn Museum.

This is an original etching by American artist Gottlob L. Briem (1899-1972)) The title of this work is :Wall Street, N.Y.C." It was created and printed in 1930 in an edition of 100. The image mesres 13 15/16X8 15/16 inches. It is hand signed in pencil lower right.

This is an original etching by French impressionist Edgar Degas.  The title is, "AutoPortrait", Self Portrait.  It was created in 1857, this is the Forth state of 4, after the cancellation marks.  Delteil 1.

The image measures 9X5 3/8 inches.  printed on a cream wove type paper.  Unsigned as issued.

This is an original etching by British artist Arthur Briscoe.  The title is: "Manning the Pumps".  This etching was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 75.  This etching is hand signed and editioned in pen and ink by the artist.  The image measures 12 1/4X9 1/8 inches.  "The action shows the men manning the pumps which are in the waist of the ship, the wettest part of all when seas are coming aboard".  This etching is framed with archival materials.

This is an oriignal  aquatint etching by British artist Leonard R. Squirrell, this etching was created and printed in 1924 in an edition of 75 signed proofs.  The image measures 11X16 1/4 inches.  Pencil signed by the artist in pencil lower right border.  Fine use of highlight and shadow making a dramatic composition. Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.   A rare image only found in Museums.

This is a fine original etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  This etching is titled The Red Mill, also called The Red Barn, Southport.  The image measures 11 1/8X7 1/4 inches.  This pencil signed impression done in etching and aquatint was published in 1922 in a first edition of 25.  Beautiful tonal range and fine composition with extensive reflections in the water.  This etching was later printed with some color in the barn and sky.  Nicely framed with French matting.
