This series of thirteen townscapes are images of shipping ports, market places, hotels, busy neighborhoods, historical buildings, castles, and cathedrals all surrounded by the element of water. They show the interplay and the importance of the waterways to the towns and their dependance on each other. Individual prints are titled in Dutch at the top center and were done c. 1660-1690.

Etching from 1910. Catalog: Forster 30. Plate measures 12 1/4 x 8 3/4 inches on 15 x 11 inch laid type paper. Pencil signed in the lower right. This scene in London of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, otherwise known as the Brompton Oratory. The domed building in the background is the Royal College of Arts, where Anderson was studying at the time. Edition of 58. A finely detailed and well inked print with a rich drypoint burr.

Timber Raft on the Rhine (after the watercolor by J.M.W. Turner in the National Gallery). 1898. Mezzotint. Hardie 66. 8 1/4 x 11 11/16 (sheet 10 5/16 x 13 1/2). Edition 100. A rich, tonal impression printed in black ink on simili-Japan paper. Signed in pencil.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Muirhead Bone.  The title is: Walberswick Ferry.  It was created and printed in 1913.  The image measures 7 11/16X10 inches.  Printed on a light weight wove type paper.  Hand signed in pencil lower right border.

This is an original etching, pencil signed by British artist George Marples, this rare image of a Farmer with his sheep measures 6X9 1/4 inches.  Printed on a laid type sheet with the P.G. Heade watermark.  A fine rich impression.

Image measures 13 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches on 18 x 13 3/4 inch Rives watermarked wove type paper. Plate initialed and dated 1930. Pencil editioned in the lower left. Editioned 30/90. Catalog: Barker 46. An atmospheric print of two people and a horse hauling wood through a storm.

This is a pencil signed lithograph by American artist Adolf Dehn.  The title is: Fishing in Minnesota, Summer Day.  It was created and printed in 1954 and sold through Associated American Artists in New York.  This lithograph measures 9 3/8X13 11/16 inches.  It was published in an edition of 250.  It appears in the Dehn catalog as image number 501.
