This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Joseph Pennell. He traveled down to Panama in 1912 to record the building of the Canal.  He created a series of lithographic images from that trip. This image is titled: The Cut From Culebra.  It was created and printed in 1912 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 22 1/2X17 inches on a sheet size of 25 1/2X20 1/2 inches.  Printed on a Fabiano watermarked laid type paper.

This is a fine atmospheric etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The subject is: Caissons on Vesey Street, N.Y.  This image was created and printed in 1924, in an edition of 75, pencil signed, also with a collectors name at the upper edge of the sheet.  Printed on an antique laid type paper. The image measures 13 3/4X9 1/8 inches.  THis subject was the construction of the New York Telephone building, The Barclay Vesey building.  The image is in the Wuerth catalog as image number 854.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Jacques Villon.  The title is: La Dame au chine.  It was created and printed in 1906, this is the 2nd state of 2.  The image measures 9 1/2X8 1/2 inches.  Catalog entry Ginestet-Pouillon E156.  This drypoint is nicely framed.  Hand signed in pencil lower border, one small foxing spot in the lower border.

This is a fine original etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  This etching is titled The Red Mill, also called The Red Barn, Southport.  The image measures 11 1/8X7 1/4 inches.  This pencil signed impression done in etching and aquatint was published in 1922 in a first edition of 25.  Beautiful tonal range and fine composition with extensive reflections in the water.  This etching was later printed with some color in the barn and sky.  Nicely framed with French matting.

This is a fine early lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  The title is: Three Trees, Eastport Maine,  it was created and printed in 1932 in an edition of only 50.  This pencil signed lithograph has an image size of 8 3/16X12 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is an original etching by American artist Gottlob L. Briem (1899-1972)) The title of this work is :Wall Street, N.Y.C." It was created and printed in 1930 in an edition of 100. The image mesres 13 15/16X8 15/16 inches. It is hand signed in pencil lower right.

This is a fine original screen print by American artist Max Arthur Cohn.  The title is: Night Scene, created and printed in 1944.  Hand signed with pen and ink within the image lower right.  The image measures 12X17 1/2 inches.  "Best known as a pioneer in screenprints, Max Arthur Cohn was born to Russian immigrants in London, in 1903, and moved with his family to New York City in 1905. He got his first art-related job creating commercial silkscreens when he was seventeen. Cohn began to experiment with silkscreening on his own and later exhibited his prints in New York City and Washington, D.C., in the 1930s and '40s." (Smithsonian Museum)

This etching was created and printed in 1945 in a very small edition of only 30 signed proofs. This one is inscribed as a "Trial Proof #3", the image measures 10 7/8X12 3/4 inches. printed on a medium weight laid type paper. Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Latvia. In 1912 he went to Italy where he met and worked with Russian artist Maxim Gorky. During this period he also received his only art training, studying etching, drawing and relief printing at the Academy of Rome. In 1937, he emigrated to New York where he worked full time as an artist until his death. He is best known for his woodcuts and etchings, and many museums have works by the artist, including the Smithsonian, Bibliotheque Nationale, and the Brooklyn Museum.
