This is an early lithograph by American artist Philip Evergood.  The title is: City Lights II,  created and printed in 1941.  This impression is hand signed and numbered in pencil 124/200.  The image measures 8 1'2X12 inches.  This lithograph is nicely framed and in very good condition.

This is an original pencil signed and titled woodblock print by American artist Isac Friedlander. The title of this work is "Jeremiah", created and printed circa 1940. The image measures 6 3/4X5 7/8 inches. Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Latvia. In 1912 he went to Italy where he met and worked with Russian artist Maxim Gorky. During this period he also received his only art training, studying etching, drawing and relief printing at the Academy of Rome. In 1937, he emigrated to New York where he worked full time as an artist until his death. He is best known for his woodcuts and etchings, and many museums have works by the artist, including the Smithsonian, Bibliotheque Nationale, and the Brooklyn Museum.

A beautiful sun drenched scene by Walter MacEwen, etching, image size 10 x 5 7/8 inches, c. 1910, printed by Delatre, pencil signed. Born in Chicago, MacEwen traveled to Europe to study art, first in Munich with Frank Duveneck, then in Paris with Corman and Robert-Fleury. He stayed in Europe for many years with studios in both Paris and Holland, where he was also a founding member of the Egmond Artist Colony. Primarily a painter, MacEwen was known for his impressionistic portraits and genre scenes which were quite well received in both Europe and America. His etchings, which are quite scarce, are developed in a very painterly style, reflecting the delicate use of light and shadow of his paintings.
