This is an original color aquatint etching by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir. This pencil signed etching was created and printed in Nov, 1927.  The image measures 17 1/2X9 7/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower border.  This image appears in the Lorenz catalog as image number 67.  One image of several that he created on his visit to New York City in the 1920's.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Edmund Blampied, created and printed in 1920 the title of this work is: "Soup", showing laborers at dinner.  The image measures 9X8 1/8 inches.  Printed in an edition of 100.  This impression is hand signed in pencil in the lower  border. This image was illustrated in Print Collector's Quarterly in 1926.

This is an original color aquatint etching by French artist Manuel Robbe.  This image is titled: Maquillage, (making up)  It was created and printed in  1904.  It has the French publishers blindstamp lower right corner of the sheet.  This impression is hand signed in pencil lower right border.  The image measures 16 7/16X12 7/8 inches.  The image appears in the Perussaux catalog as image number 130.

This is an original hand signed color aquatint etching by French artist Manuel Robbe (1872-1936) The title of this etching is: "Le Pont de L'Isle Adam" it was created and printed in 1927 in an edition of 100. The etching is pencil signed in the lower right. This etching was formally sold by Merrill Chase galleries in Chicago. The image measures 13 1/2X21 inches.A fine impression, Sold by Merrill Chase, Chicago... Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and the Ecole des Beaux Artes in Paris.
With his hand application of color no two images look exactly the same, a very painterly technique.

A fine detailed etching by British printmaker, William Lionel Wyllie. Created c. 1915, it measures 6 1/2 x 14 3/4 inches and is pencil signed on the l.l. This is a great image of yacht racing in the Solent, where Cowes Week is an annual sailing event. Wyllie was a well known marine painter and printmaker, studying at the Heatherley School of Fine Art and then at the at the Royal Academy. At the age of 18, Wyllie won the Turner Gold Medal for his painting "Dawn After A Storm". He went on to have a long artistic career, specializing in paintings and etchings of the sea and the city of London.

Print 61 in an edition of 75. Signed in the lower left, editioned in the lower right. Plate initialed and dated "1926" in the lower right. Second state. Catalog: Laboureur 323. The image depicts the cliffs along the coast of Penestin, France. Plate measures 9 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches on 15 x 9 5/8 inch watermarked wove type paper. Collector's stamp on back. This print has very fine engraved lines and a very whimsical style. Laboureur studied at the Academie Julian under Auguste Lepere before traveling extensively throughout Germany, Italy and Greece. He returned to Paris in 1910, just when Cubism was being explored, and fully embraced it, incorporating it into his distinct style. He founded the Société des Peintres-Graveurs Indépendants in 1923 and its members included Braque, Dufy, Vlamnick, Laurencin and Segonzac.
