This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist George Elbert Burr.  The title is Oaks in Winter, created and printed in 1920, this pencil signed impression measures 9 7/8X6 7/8 inches,  A rich impression with plate tone in the sky and snow.

One of the finest portrait etchings ever  created by British artist Gerald Brockhurst.  "Henry Rushbury", created and printed in 1930.  Rushbury, like Brockhurst studied at the Birmingham School of Art and the two later shared an apartment in London.  Rushbury was an accomplished etcher as well...  This etching is very richly printed, the subtle tonal range is incredible in person, our scan doesn't .do this image justice.  Absolutely one of the finest portraits .  This etching measures 10X7 3/8 inches, pencil signed and titled by the artist in the lower border, printed in an edition of 111.  Very fine condition.

This is a fine line engraving by British artist Stanley Anderson.  The title is The Old Tinker.  This pencil signed impression measures 7 X5 1/2  inches, created and printed in 1933.  This image appears in the Anderson Catalog as image number 208.  The tinker is depicted soldering a patch to a leaking kettle while his wife is about to renew the cane seat of an old chair.  Anderson often returned to the subject of the wanderer, of itinerants such as wayfarers pedlars and gypsies making their way through town.  This engraving is in a modern frame with archival materials.

This is an original very rare etching by African American artist Gilbert Young.  This etching is titled in pencil and inscribed as Artists Proof 2/2.  We are unsure if an edition was ever pulled from this plate.  It is signed lower right in pencil but seems to be written over and hard to read.  The image measures 12 1/2X11 1/2 inches,  Printed on a heavy wove type sheet.  Young was born and lived in  Cincinnati, Ohio and is a well known artist whose works are in many museums and collections.

This is an original oil on canvas painting by American 19th century Marine painter Harry Chase.  This painting is signed and dated 1879 lower right, it was created during his Visit to the Holland in 1879.  The painting measures 12X20 inches.  Housed in a period gilt frame.  This work has a few minor spots of touchup in the sky areas.  Chase was one of the foremost American Marine painters.  Written on the back of the canvas was the title Moonlight Dutch Coast.  The painting has been lined covering the text but a photo remains of the back prior to the lining.

This is a fine original Owl lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  This image is titled The Matriarch, it was created and printed in 1974.  This pencil signed impression measures 13 1/4X11 1/2 inches.  It was printed in an edition of only 100 impressions.  This image appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 355.  Very fine condition printed on a medium weight wove type paper with deckeled edges.

This is a fine early etching by British artist Robin Tanner.  The title is: The Gamekeepers Cottage, it was created and printed in  1928 in an edition of 50, this impression is numbered as XXV.  The image measures 6 7/8X8 3/4 inches.  The subject was thought to be  made at Annie Bryant's old cottage in Kington Langley; at Rose Cottage, Corsham, the home of Heather Spackman, his future wife, and at the family house of the Spackmans.  This etching was reprinted in 1982 with some changes made to the design, this is the early original impression, quite rare.  Very fine condition.  Hand signed and dated in pencil.
