This is an original pencil signed impression of the well known lithograph by Stow Wengenroth titled: The Fog Bell, Port Clyde, it was created and printed in 1954 in an edition of 60.  The image measures 10X15 3/4 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  This image appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 222.  On of his finest Maine costal scenes for which he is so well known.  Very fine condition.

This is an original wood engraving by American artist Asa Cheffetz.  The title of this work is: The Road Home, it was created and printed circa 1948.  This image was sold by Associated American Artists in New York.  This wood engraving came to us with a scratch on the left side within the image.  Although it has been touched up, it is possible to see it but it is unobtrusive.  We are offering this damaged image at a fraction of the value.  It is possible to have this retouched by a good conservator.

This is an original etching by British Bird Artist Winifred Austen.  This image of Phesants is titled: Out Foraging.  It is pencil signed and titled, with a stamp in the lower border stating, Made in England.  The image measures 7 1/2X 9 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Austen's favorite subjects were wild animals and birds, and she received many commissions to illustrate magazines and books. Her etchings of animals and birds were popular in the 1940s and 1950s.

This is a very fine original pencil signed wood engraving by British artist George Soper.  This winter scene of a Farmer feeding the cattle has an image size of 5X7 1/2 inches.  Nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a fine pencil signed etching by Suffolk artist Percy Lancaster.  The title is: The Haven.  It is pencil signed lower right and has an image size of 6 1/2X9 3/4  inches.  Lancaster was part of the Suffolk art colony.  This work was done in the late 1920's-early 1930's.  The work is framed with archival materials.

This is an original pencil signed wood block print by British artist George Soper.  The subject is a Horse with a cart resting on the side of the farm building.  The image measures 5 3/8X7 5/8 inches.  Printed on a thin Japan type sheet.  Soper was an artist who mostly depicted Rural life in England.

This is an original etching by French artist Edgar Chahine.  It is titled: Rio Ca Foscari, Venice.  It was created and printed in 1906 and was published by Gazette des Beaux Arts in Paris.  The image measures 8 5/8 X 5 5/8 inches.  This image appears in the Tabanelli catalog as image number 220.  There is a signature and title in pencil perhaps by another hand then the artist.

This is an original etching by French artist Edgar Chahine.  The image is pencil signed and titled: La Basilica de San Marco, Venice.  This is a finely printed example on a laid type sheet.  The image measures 12 1/2X8 1/4 inches.  It is numbered as 35/100.  There is a stamp or collectors seal at the upper border.  Richly printed with fine use of plate tone.  This impression was created and printed in 1923.

This is one of the finest works by John Taylor Arms etching and aquatint.  It was created and printed in 1940 as image number 1 of his Scandinavian Series.  Pencil signed twice, dedicated to William Schaldach, lower border.  The image measures 7 9/16X13 9/16 inches.  It appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 346.  It is the third state of three from the edition of 330 impressions.  Printed by David Strang.  This image won 5 prizes between 1941-1948,  Incredible detail, nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a fine original wood engraving after Homer, published in Harpers Weekly in September 20, 1873.  This is a wood engraving with the original Harpers written story on the back of the sheet.  This is perhaps the best known of the large double paged images that were ever done for Harpers.  The image measures 13 9/16X 20 5/8 inches on a total sheet size of 15 15/16X21 7/8 inches.  Very nice condition, museum  matted and framed.  The title Snap the Whip, after the painting by Winslow Homer.  This image was engraved by W. H. Lagarde.,.

This is a fine original etching by American artist Marguerite Kirmse, Kirmse was a famous artist specialing in dogs. In 1924 She and her husband George Cole purchased a farm in South Carolina and bred Airedales,English Pointers and Setters.  The title of this image is Carolina Days, it is pencil signed and titled and has an image which measures 9X13 1/2 inches.  Fine condition printed on a Rives B.F.K. watermarked wove type paper.

Gottlieb.  This litho is hand signed and titled in pencil and numbered 15/20.  The image measures 7 3/4X9 3/8 inches.  The image printed on a medium weight wove type sheet was created and printed circa 1940.  Gottlieb was a well known teacher.  He studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, His works were frequently shown in Philadelphia.
