This is an original pencil signed color wood engraving by American artist Rudolph Ruzicka.  The subject is Cullum Hall, West Point, created and printed in 1938.  This image measures 7 1/4X5 inches.  This work was published by Baker Jones and Hausauer in Buffalo.  The presentation print by the Howitzer Staff.

This is an original painting in watercolor by American artist and illustrator Gordon Hope Grant.  This painting, titled on the back "Rockport" is a fine view of the Fishing Shacks that Rockport is best known for.  This painting is signed Gordon Grant, lower right corner and has an image size of 15X22 inches, nicely framed which measures 24X29 inches.  The painting is still bright and colorful.  Fine shape.

This is an original Edward Steichen photograph printed as a Photogravure by Alfred Stieglitz as a supplement to Camera Work created and printed in 1906 in a series titled, The Steichen Supplement.  This work done on a thin Japan type sheet measures 6 3/8X7 1/8 on a sheet size of 11 1/4X8 1/2 inches.  This work is nicely framed with archival materials.  Edward Steichen was a key figure of twentieth-century photography, directing its development as a prominent photographer and influential curator. Steichen came to the United States in 1881. He painted and worked in lithography, before undertaking photography in 1896, and first exhibited photographs at the Philadelphia Salon in 1899. Steichen became a naturalized citizen in 1900 and after exhibiting in the Chicago Salon, he received encouragement from Clarence White, who brought him to Alfred Stieglitz's attention.

This is an original etching with drypoint by American artist Franklin Whiting.  This image is of Napoleon Bridge, in Paris,created and printed in 1947.  A hand signed impression that measures 8 5/8X12 1/4 inches.  
Frank P. Whiting  A twentieth century American architect and etcher, Frank Whiting studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and then worked and studied under Ernest Flagg. During his career, Frank P. Whiting designed such buildings as the Farmer's Museum, Cooperstown, N. Y., the Burton Art Gallery, Bideford, and a number of colonial style homes in the United States. Frank Whiting lived and worked in both New York City and Cooperstown.

This is a fine award winning etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  From his English Series, this image is Cavendish Church, created and printed in 1944.  This is the second state of two printed in an edition of 155, printed by David Strang.  The image measures 9 1/2X5 1/2 inches.  according to the Fletcher catalog the first state of this etching took Arms 236 hours to complete, the second state had an additional 53 3/4 hours of work done to complete it. This appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 381.

This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist Symour Haden.  The title is: The Island Opposite Boyle's Farm, created and printed in 1869.  The image measures 6 7/8X9 7/8 inches.  Catalog: Schneiderman 126.  This is the forth state of five.  "This island, Boyle Farm Island, is the second largest of three islands in the Thames River. It contains a single house, home to just one family. It is directly opposite the historic mansion of Boyle Farm, which is now known as the Home of Compassion in Thames Ditton in the Elmbridge borough of Surrey, England." (Annex)

This is one of the rarest etchings by American artist John Taylor Arms.  This color aquatint etching is titled: Still Waters, created and printed in 1919, in an edition of 7 impressions of this the 5th state.  It is hand signed by both the artist J.T.Arms and the printer Frederick Reynolds.  A beautiful rich impression, printed on a buff toned sheet.  The image measures 6 1/8X4 1/8 inches.  The sheet size measures 17X13 inches.  A very fine early effort by this important American print maker.  The image appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 28.
