This is one of the largest etched plates by French artist Maxime Lalanne, created in 1881, the title of this work is: Souvenir d'un Port Trouville, Calvados.  It is the second state of three with the sailboat remarque lower left and a rare pencil signature lower in the right hand border area.  The image measures 10X15 3/4 inches.  Richly printed on a medium weight simi parchment like paper.  The sheet size measures 15 3/4X19 1/2 inches.

This is a fine original etching with drypoint by British artist William Lionel Wyllie.  This image is of the HMS Victory Firing the Salute in Portsmouth Harbour, created and printed circa 1920, hand signed in pencil this image measures 8 3/8X19 1/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.  Very fine condition.  HMS Victory is a 104-gun first-rate wooden sailing ship of the line. With 247 years of service as of 2025, she is the world's oldest naval vessel still in commission.

"Brixham Trawlers" by Arthur Briscoe measures 5 3/8 x 13 7/8 inches, published in 1929 in an edition of 75. Printed in sepia toned ink on Whatman laid paper, it is ink signed and numbered and also plate signed, dated and titled. Briscoe is known as the finest marine etcher of the 20th. century. He owned his own three ton cutter which he used to sail around the Essex coast. Also crewing on a Polish ship, he sketched every aspect of life on the boat. He studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris. His name became internationally renowned when his works sold to the New York market.

This is a very fine original etching of a hardworking woman carrying water by German artist Lesser Ury. The image size is 5 1/2 x 3 5/8 inches, 1923, pencil signed. Ury was a German Jewish artist known for his impressionistic paintings and etchings. He was best known for his scenes of Paris as well as a series of etching depicting the Dutch countryside and people.

This is an original woodcut print by American artist Winifred Milius Lubell.  This print is pencil signed, dated and titled by the artist lower border.  Titled The Artist, created and printed in 1937, this is a very rare hand signed impression.  The image printed on a very thin Japan type sheet measures 9 1/4X5 3/4 inches.  A little light rubbing to part of the signature but overall very nice condition.
