This is an original hand colored lithograph by American artist Don Freeman.  The title is: "To see the mayor".  This image was created and printed in 1937 in an edition of 25, far fewer were hand colored by the artist.  This image is pencil signed, the image measures 12 1/8X9 inches.  According to the catalog: "On his weekly radio program, Mayor La Guardia encouraged new Yorkers to bring their complaints to him personally.  Freeman drew a group of constituents making appointments with the mayor's secretary"  This lithograph is framed.

This is a fine original drypoint etching by American artist Walter Tittle.  The title is: Church of the Heavenly Rest, which was built in New York City in 1929.  This etching is hand  signed in ink and measures 12X10 inches, nicely framed with archival materials.  A very rich impression, Tittle at his very best...

This is a fine rich impression of the well known Corot etching Souvenir of Italy, this was first created in 1863, and  printed in three states, including later ones with the publishers information at the bottom edge of the sheet.  This one does not have that so may be an earlier or possibly later  impression.  The image measures 12 9/16X9 3/8 inches, printed on an antique laid type paper.  Very fine condition, matted not framed.  This image appears in the catalog as C.5...

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist William S. Schwartz.  The title is: Portrait of the Artist's Wife and her Grandfather.  THis lithograph was created and printed in 1929.  The image measures 21 1/4X16 5/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower left and also signed within the plate.  William S. Schwartz was born in Smorgon, Russia, February 23, 1896.  He immigrated to the USA at the age of 17 and became a successful artist moving to Chicago and studying at the Art Institute.

This is an original etching and aquatint by American artist Kerr Eby.  The subject is Eby's home which he named Driftway, in Westport Connecticut.  This etching is hand signed in pencil and has an image size of 8 3/8X15 3/8 inches.  Printed in an edition of 100 in 1939.  This image appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 196.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

This is an early original lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  The title is: Sea's Strange Calm, Eastport, Maine.  It was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 54 impressions.  This proof is hand signed in pencil lower right border.  The image measures 7 1/4X12 7/8 inches.  It appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 10.  The scene is Campobello Island in the distance, seen from Eastport, Maine, Across Passaquoddy Bay.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper with "France" watermark.

This incredible image by the British etcher, Arthur Briscoe, measures 8 1/8 x 15 3/8 inches, inked signed and numbered, 73/75, created in 1931. Briscoe studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris and then spent the rest of his time sailing, becoming one of the most prominent British marine artists of the 20th century. He owned his own three ton cutter which he used to sail around the Essex coast. Also crewing on a Polish ship, he sketched every aspect of life on the boat. Most of Briscoe's etchings show sailing ships and the men who sailed them. His beautifully etched images present an invaluable historical record of the workings of the last great commercial vessels.

This is a fine original mezzotint by British artist Sir Francis Seymour Haden.  This image is "Grayling Fishing" created and printed in 1897.  This etching, pencil signed lower right measures 7 1/2X11 3/4inches.  This is the second state of five.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  The image appears in the Schneiderman catalog as image number 227.  A fine rich impression.  Haden was an avid fisherman, this was one of his subjects, the famous fishing streams in the United Kingdom.  Which included On the Test, The Compleat Angler and Fishermen on the Thames.

This is a very rare original drypoint etching by French artist Jean-Louis Forain, the title is C'est Fini, this drypoint was created and printed circa 1890, there was a later Verticle composition with the same name.  This image measures 9 1/2X12 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet,.  Weve been unable to find another example of this scarce drypoint.  Hand signed in pencil lower right.

This is an original etching by American artist Gottlob L.Briem (1899-1972)  This etching titled lower left in pencil, "Tower Under Construction, George Washington Bridge" has an image size of 14 3/4X9 5/16 inches.  Pencil signed, dated, 1930 and numbered, 47/100.  Printed on a watermarked laid type paper.  A very dramatic composition, one of his best efforts.
